Join us in observing National Child Protection Week 2024, a pivotal time dedicated to amplifying the rights of children as enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and the Children’s Act (Act No. 38 of 2005). This annual commemoration is spearheaded by the Department of Social Development, in collaboration with key government departments and civil society organizations committed to providing child protection services. Together, we strive to safeguard our children’s rights and well-being.

Nelson Mandela Day
On Mandela Day, we ran a campaign, “Creating a Ripple Effect”, transforming lives through small donations. We shared Grace’s story: abandoned on a cold night, she was rescued and placed into a loving forever home through the support of Abba Social Services and kind strangers.
In commemoration of Nelson Mandela’s 67 years of service, we aimed to raise funds to help more children like Grace. Regardless of size, every contribution is crucial for creating positive change.
Your generous donations created a ripple effect, providing love and stability to children in need.
